🔥 Forged in Fire Competition

Strength Tested. Character Proven.

After walking through the forge and completing three or more Anvil Blacksmithing classes, young men ages 10–15 are invited to take the next step—to put their skill, creativity, and endurance to the test in the Forged in Fire Competition.

Just as Joseph’s faith and perseverance were refined through each season of his life, this challenge invites boys to take what they’ve learned and forge something that reflects not only craftsmanship, but character. Each participant will design and create their own custom knife—from concept to completion—using materials and guidance provided by Anvil.

This isn’t just about shaping steel. It’s about demonstrating excellence under pressure, creativity through constraint, and humility in competition.

When the blades are finished, our community will cast their votes to select the top designs—celebrating not just the sharpest edges, but the strongest hearts behind them.

🏆 Prizes:

  • 1st Place: $100

  • 2nd Place: $50

  • 3rd Place: $25

Through this experience, boys will discover that the fire doesn’t just test what they’ve made—it reveals who they’ve become.

Like Joseph, their story reminds us that even in the heat and hammer blows, God is shaping something good—because true strength is forged on the anvil.
