Anvil Sports Camp: Summer, 2026!
Anvil Sports Camp – Summer 2026
Round 3.
And this year, we’re stepping fully into the arena.
Anvil Sports Camp is quickly becoming one of the Philadelphia area’s most trusted and talked-about sports camps—not because we chase trends, but because we’re committed to something timeless: forming boys through challenge, brotherhood, and purposeful play.
This is a screen-free, high-energy, outdoor-first camp for boys ages 7–13 (sorry dads), built on old-school values and modern intentionality. Organized but flexible. Competitive yet encouraging. Structured enough to grow boys, relaxed enough for them to just be kids.
Based out of Berean Bible Church’s spacious campus in Pottstown, PA, each day is packed with sports, games, competitions, and adventures like: rugby, cricket, infection, manhunt, gaga ball, whiffle ball, kickball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, flag football, battle ball, dodgeball, capture the flag, Nerf wars, water games—and yes… Fortnite (in real life).
But Anvil Sports Camp is about more than activity.
The 2026 Theme: The Man in the Arena
Inspired by Theodore Roosevelt’s famous speech, this year’s camp challenges boys to be the ones who show up, try, risk, fail, and get back up again.
Not spectators.
Not critics.
But young men learning to stand in the arena of real life.
Through age-appropriate challenges and captivating competitions, we’re not trying to create summer camp heroes—we’re intentionally nurturing men of character.
The heartbeat of Anvil Sports Camp is to:
Increase responsibility, resilience, stewardship, and independence…
Provide opportunities for risk, courage, adventure, and confidence…
Teach boys how to fail forward in a safe, encouraging environment…
Replace isolation and loneliness with community and brotherhood…
Gently confront identity confusion with Biblical truth, especially when frustration, anger, or apathy surface…
What Parents Consistently Notice
Parents tell us they see growth in areas like:
Confidence & identity — boys standing taller, speaking up, believing “I belong”…
Faith & spiritual maturity — learning who they are in Christ and how to walk with Him daily…
Social skills & friendships — connecting with peers, communicating better, showing compassion…
Emotional regulation — handling frustration, competition, and conflict with growing self-control…
Character & leadership — responsibility, humility, perseverance, and servant leadership…
Some boys arrive unsure of themselves.
Some are coming off tough school years, bullying, or isolation.
Others just need a place to burn energy, test limits, and be challenged.
Wherever they start, our goal is the same: to help each boy leave more grounded, more confident, and more aware of the man God is shaping him to become…while burning a lot of calories and choosing some early bedtimes along the way.
Anvil Sports Camp looks forward to duplicating the excellence and trust that has become expected of the Anvil name—while continuing our mission of FORGING boys into strong young MEN.
This is a week your son will not want to miss.
